the launcher starts fine, i downloaded pixelmon complex and started it up, went in and created a new solo world but thats as far as it goes, it then says building terrain and closes out of the mc launcher and im sent back to the technic launcher. it will not start a world. please help!

also it says Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: Java.lang.OutOfMemoryError when i try to join an online server

How is this a modpack issue? It does it for all mod packs not just pixelmon, if anything is a launcher issue or something more serious then just a single mod pack

Its not a launcher issue. Its you not allocating enough RAM to the game. If you can open the launcher, then its not a launcher issue. Anything that happens when starting a modpack is a modpack/system issue.

well seeing as i set it to max, thats also not the issue tho, i have 32gb ram and set it to whatever the max was for allocated ram so thats definitely not the issue. and i didnt know that. thanks for clarifying

That actually might be the issue. Set it to half of max, Java is not good with a LOAD of RAM.
