Am I doing this right? Help!

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I am playing Hexxit in survival mode but it's letting me take whatever I want. It is fun to check everything out. However, am I doing something wrong? I feel goofy asking like I'm doing something fundamentally silly but I would love to know if I'm just being a goof. Thanks so much!!!

LOL JAO...It would be all right I guess if I just wanted to build some stuff with literally no challenge.

 

I believe I solved this issue. Looks like I just had the wrong version of a Hexxit copy. Thanks though!

by take, you mean the TMI screen? you got cheat mode enabled. there's an option to turn that off
