Slender Man Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 It says the coal generator needs heat. I've got the thing hooked up to a battery box and everything is all plugged in but I don't know how to heat it. I tried putting fire underneath it, and I can't think of anything else. Quote
TheBytemaster Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 It gets heat by burning coal. Just shove a pile of coal inside it and it should take care of itself pretty quickly. The heat mechanic also means that the longer it runs, the more efficient it becomes, and the faster it generates electricity. Quote
kidfury Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I have a batbox sitting right next to a coal generator with about 8 coal in it but nothing is happening. Does it need to be cabled? Quote

Aear Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Could you help me? I have coal in the generator and it's hooked up to a battery box and a crusher and it wont generate power or do anything. I've used both insulated copper wire and copper cable but nothing. Quote

I've used both insulated copper wire and copper cable but nothing. The coal generator? Make sure the wire is connecting with the generator, there is a specific side that will correctly connect, same for the battery box. Don't forget, the OUTput is the grey circle, the INput is the red circle. So you connect the wire with the grey circle of the gen, and the red circle of the batbox. Quote
