liamquessada
After some help in solving and error and failure to launch Legends. Ive been playing around with adding extra mods by successfully adding AE2 which is awesome. I have since been trying to add Thermal Expansion with no success. I have to correct versions of all three mods (Thermal Foundations and CofhCore). I have ruled it down to CofhCore to be the route of the error and launch failure as ive installed each individually. Thanks for any help in advance! Error code as follows: [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: Launching wrapped minecraft {net.minecraft.client.main.Main} [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/ERROR]: Unable to launch [B#745] java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException [B#745] at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:62) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:43) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:497) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.launch(Launch.java:135) [launchwrapper-1.12.jar:?] [B#745] at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28) [launchwrapper-1.12.jar:?] [B#745] Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: net/minecraft/world/World [B#745] at net.minecraft.client.main.Main.main(SourceFile:72) ~[Main.class:?] [B#745] ... 6 more [B#745] Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.world.World [B#745] at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.LaunchClassLoader.findClass(LaunchClassLoader.java:191) ~[launchwrapper-1.12.jar:?] [B#745] at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:424) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:357) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at net.minecraft.client.main.Main.main(SourceFile:72) ~[Main.class:?] [B#745] ... 6 more [B#745] Caused by: java.lang.ClassFormatError: Duplicate field name&signature in class file net/minecraft/world/World [B#745] at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:760) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:142) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.LaunchClassLoader.findClass(LaunchClassLoader.java:182) ~[launchwrapper-1.12.jar:?] [B#745] at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:424) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:357) ~[?:1.8.0_51] [B#745] at net.minecraft.client.main.Main.main(SourceFile:72) ~[Main.class:?] [B#745] ... 6 more [B#745] Exception in thread "main" [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.FMLSecurityManager$ExitTrappedException [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: at cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.FMLSecurityManager.checkPermission(FMLSecurityManager.java:25) [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkExit(SecurityManager.java:761) [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: at java.lang.Runtime.exit(Runtime.java:107) [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: at java.lang.System.exit(System.java:971) [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.launch(Launch.java:138) [B#745] [17:19:06] [main/INFO]: [java.lang.Throwable$WrappedPrintStream:println:748]: at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28) [B#745] Process exited with error code 1 [B#745] Starting download of https://cdn.technicpack.net/platform2/pack-icons/735902.png?1631990177, with 3 tries remaining
JaariAtmc
So which versions did you include? Did you check the version's forge requirement vs the modpack's included forge?
