Me and my friend wanted to revisit technic launcher and play some modded survival. We remembered that you have to download java offline 64 bit in order to allow more memory to be used thus making the game less laggy. We went through the exact same steps together and while we were able to improve from the default 1gb I was able to go all the way to 7gb while he got stuck on 3.5gb, meaning I'm running smoothly while he's not. I recall having a similar problem with my old computer. Is it the quality of our computers? Is there anyway to fix his?
