cant install modpacks

Ive been playing skyfactory 4 for a few days with no problems at all. today i try to launch it today and nothing happens, have reinstalled the launcher multiple times and also reinstalled java (1.8.0_451) now i cant install any modpack. have also tried running launcher as admin, didnt help. there seems to have been a launcher update very recently, not sure if its that causing the issues.

Close launcher and reopen launcher.

you do know to reinstall the launcher and java you need to close the launcher and all running java apps right?

So instead of "reinstalling", you really just had to close the launcher and open it again. Was an issue with an update to the launcher, which was fixed, and just required reopening the launcher to apply that fix.
