Architect Posted January 5, 2013 Posted January 5, 2013 http://www.ebay.com/itm/251209373438 something minecraft and tekkit players I think might like, what blocks would you want, Solar cell blocks? what ones would be nice if the could actually work? how about textures since these are real and resolution is not really a restriction *edit A new type of "block" a pillar essentially Quote
EzioA Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 It's nice, if it weren't for the $46 shipping... Quote
Architect Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 It's nice, if it weren't for the $46 shipping... ouch where are you located? sending you a PM about it as I am not sure it is something that needs to be publicly posted, due to it causing a stampede I suspect. PM sent, but since the item is in OKlahoma and your profile says you are in sanfransisco not sure how you could be getting hit with $46 in shipping :) Quote
racingpro Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 I'm not interested in it (sorry), but it is nice. I personally am seeing $12 shipping, and I'm out on the east coast, but it's different for everyone usually. But still, that's harsh... Quote
Architect Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 yeah for sure, There is a poll on the shipping going on over on facebook so I guess we will see how much it is costing everyone and where abouts there are. I personally see $7.23 for shipping on it. Quote
Dr_Appleman Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I win with $48.70 for shipping. These would be cool if I could afford to buy one. Quote
Architect Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 wow that is rediculous, what is ebay thinking? are they even connected to get real shipping quotes or is something insidieous going on here? I know ebay charges the seller for the total of the auctions ending bids, and now is charging the seller for the cost on the shipping too, (ie they take part of the money you give the seller to ship the item to you, and leave the seller to take part of their profit if they actually got any, and apply it to the cost of shipping) so I wonder if this is some ploy to extract more money from the end result. progrendon Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 ace'd it all $50.70 UK but wacky definitely would like them but that much on post O.O Quote
Architect Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 yeah for sure. shipping is not cheap for over seas but I have no idea why they would want so much in the listing, also I noticed that they do not just give me the shipping on things but instead replaced the price with a "calculate" link. maybe they are working on their system or something.
