bittersweet Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 What do you guys suggest I use all the cobble, dirt, gravel etc… I have? Since a quarry pops out 95% stuff I don't want, wait a few new ores were added, so 94% useless materials. How should I dispose of them? I'd make a dirt chest, but that'll be full in minutes. The uu matter process? I'll have chests of that stuff if I get multiple fabricators running. Maybe I'll just make an underground storage for the base materials I don't need chests of just in case some sorta condenser is added in the future. Oh another question. Rubbwood. When I cut one tree down with the tree capitator, I nearly have a whole inventory of that stuff. All I've been ale to craft with it is sticks. Is there any use for it?
Valkon Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 You could use a Minium Stone (crafted from 8 Minium Shards [obtained as drops from mobs] surrounding an Inert Stone [crafted from a gold ingot surrounded by 4 smoothstone in the corners and 4 iron ingots in the remaining slots]) to transmute the cobble/dirt/gravel. Rubberwood can be used in an extractor to get rubber, if I remember correctly.
Jivaii Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 Valkon's right about rubberwood, stick it into an extractor to get some rubber from it. Sidenote, rubber saplings have have the same done to them.
bittersweet Posted January 11, 2013 Author Posted January 11, 2013 Transmute them into what? Would it work like a transmutation tablet? And thanks for the rubber suggestion:). Does it work for both types of rubber wood?
Valkon Posted January 11, 2013 Posted January 11, 2013 It works like the original Equivalent Exchange 1 transmutation system (ex. put Minium Stone in crafting table with 4 clay, receive 1 iron ingot). If you use the recipe lookup feature of NEI the transmutation recipes will be under "Shapeless Crafting."
