0 BelowZero Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 As this seems to be a very common issue, I would think it should be fairly straighforward to make the launcher detect dropbox URLs and make the (very simple) edits necessary. If this issue is so easily solved with other common hosting solutions (mediafire, for example?) it could be extended to cover them as well.
0 Blaank Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Neither of those will work for my custom modpack. This may help some people but it isn't solely the problem.
0 Niavmai Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Maybe I'm weird, but it actually worked just fine for me with the normal copied link. YMMV
0 FreakinRocket Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 Try this! No custom URL, no DropBox. It is simply a lot easier.
0 Vaygrim Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Using either method for dropbox does not work for me.
0 Niavmai Posted February 12, 2013 Posted February 12, 2013 Using either method for dropbox does not work for me. Add ?dl=1 to the end of the link. E: Or setup your directories correctly.
0 Vaygrim Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 So I have had my files checked and the structures are correct. Moved the zip file to another host and the launcher actually DID download it this time. Even went through unpacking. Still Vanilla Minecraft however. :(
