  1. Thanks!!! That must have been the problem. I wanted to make sure I had installed it forge and everything else correctly, so I scraped my server completely and re-downloaded the files. Here's what I did to find out which mods were client side mods: ROUND 1: I added the mods in one by one. If they had block ID conflicts I would change them until it fixed that problem, but if it crashed the server for reasons other than block ID conflicts, I deleted the mod, then moved on to the next mod (Repeating this process for all 154 files). ROUND 2: After that I went back through again and tried installing the mods that crashed the server previously. I did this because I wasn't sure if the mods that didn't work were dependent on another mod (Like a core mod or something). That fixed about 50% of the mods that didn't work. ROUND 3: For the remaining mods that didn't work, I made sure I had the most up to date version of it and tried installing it again. This fixed about 50% of the mods that still didn't work after round 2. ROUND 4: Now that I have done everything I can (or at least that I am aware of), I can confidently say that the remaining mods are client side mods. FINISHED Runs like a charm. 4 hours of work, but it was worth it. Thanks for your help though! Without you I would have never known about client side mods. I understand them now, and by process of elimination I was able to eliminate them! Thanks TwoTails! Your help is greatly appreciated. I hope you have a great day!
  2. I removed those and some others. Still same error. Is there anyway to check which mods are client side, besides going to each of the mods' page? Heres the new crash report: http://pastebin.com/5FQDXfdg
  3. I know the problem has to deal with FML but I don't know what exactly is wrong. I have the most recent forge version.
  4. This is a custom server. Not sure what is wrong. All help is greatly appreciated.
  5. I have the same problem. I think I've come to the conclusion that this new launcher version isn't working properly with custom modpacks. They had to release a new version as quick as possible this morning because of a minecraft changing one of their directories. I think they fixed that problem, but something else got bugged in the process. A lot of other people have recently run into this problem so this would be the most logical conclusion. I don't think anyone on here will know the answer. All we can do is wait for Technic to fix the problem. Let's just hope they get it fixed soon.
  6. Hey guys, so I've been working on a custom modpack. When I add it to my technic launcher it says, "Error unzipping a file for the following pack: V and V error in opening zip file please conslt the modpack author." I am the modpack author. It's called V and V. Here is the link the modpack: http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/v-for-v.232457 This is the modpack location: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/d9cltntxq52cewv/V for V.zip This is the modpack file (no instant download): https://www.dropbox.com/s/d9cltntxq52cewv/V for V.zip I am not quite sure what is wrong. I've found other people that have the same problem. Sadly their solution didn't work for me. I have tried the pack before except I just replaced the voltz pack files with my mod pack files and it worked. So I know that there are no block ID problems. I've tried everything I know how to do, however I obviously couldn't figure it out. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out/tell me how I can fix it. Is there a video tutorial about this problem anywhere? Because it seems a lot of people have this problem. I think it would be super helpful if someone could make one. I would if I could but I can't seem to figure it out.
  7. I deeply apologize, I was just trying to help out other people. And thanks for telling me that I doesn't work for any mod, because I was not aware it did not work for any mod, and I would never want to give anyone false information. I appreciate you for telling me about this so that I know not to make this mistake in the future! Thanks, FreakinRocket
  8. Well yes but that is a way to add it in yourself while you wait for them to add it.
  9. Here is how to combine the two!!! I show you how to add mods from tekkit lite to Voltz using a simple method. NO custom URL/Drop box is needed. This works for ANY mod in a pre-existing mod pack!
  10. I am sorry for advertising my video. I was simply trying to help everyone out, but it was not my intention to advertise. Once again, I am sorry, and it will not happen again. -FreakinRocket
  11. For all the people trying to make a custom mod pack. You can simply add mods to pre-existing mod packs. In this tutorial I show you how to add RedPower2, Steve's Carts, Computer Craft and Iron Chests. You can add any mod though! No custom URL/DropBox is required.
  12. I have removed this comment because it has been taken by some as advertising, and I would never want to disrespect anyone's rules. I deeply apologize. Thanks, -FreakinRocket
