Morrodion Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 ok so before i posted about the engines not turning round and managed to sort out by finding out there are multiple wrenches, now i am stuck because now it's same trouble i have all the wrenches . is there a button combination i should be using???
DragnHntr Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 If you are talking about engines, it is the grey iron wrench you should be using. You right click the buildcraft object to change its alignment, but it will only change to a valid target. So place your machines first, then wrench it into the correct position.
Morrodion Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 both machine and engine is in correct place next to each other just doesn't want to play ball
Jay? Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 both machine and engine is in correct place next to each other just doesn't want to play ball What are you trying to power with the engines?
Morrodion Posted March 21, 2012 Author Posted March 21, 2012 a pump to start pumping oil, only using redstone engines and switches. even tried setting it up identical to the tutorial video sjin from the yogscast posted and nothing
DragnHntr Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Oh I know this one! Did you make a industrialcraft Pump instead of a buildcraft Pump?
Jay? Also do you have waterproof pipe going into the water?
DragnHntr Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Are you sure that you have the right pump? ic2 has pumps as well. Also do you have waterproof pipe going into the water? The buildcraft pump drops its own pipe directly under itself. No need to put waterproof pipes into water, unless I misunderstood what you meant.

Jay? Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 didja make sure you're using the BC pump? Try taking some screenshots and showing us.
