Yeah, you can probably just set the item ID's to a different one than the clients have, or perhaps set it to 0. In any case, as long as the client and server item ID's don't match up, you can't craft it. Item ID's such as the Nano Saber, Mining Laser and Quantum Armor are easy since you can specify ID's up in the threehundred thousands.

Does that mean a server can just ban items by changing item IDs in the config and not require client modifications? There's a server that I play in that's having trouble banning items. I don't know what plugin he's using but you can craft banned items via the automatic crafting table.

Is there a universal item ID config? If so I can't find it. Is it a separate file for each mod, or maybe a forge mod I can get as an addon that will contain all of them?
