Stuck in mystecraft world

I have switched to creative mode and cannot spawn a fissure or waterer, so how do i get back to the over world?

if your playing on a server and not in single player, delete your player data, you will lose all items and level but you will spawn at the overworld spawn as a "new" player to the server
