BigG1 Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 I have recently setup a sorting machine and it seemed to be working fine. I then put some items in my drop box and the transposer was not pulling the items out of the chest, if i disconnect the pneumatic pipes, items are popping out the transposer. Any possible suggestions of what is wrong and how to fix it, will be much appreciated.
disconsented Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Sounds like the sorting machine is jammed up then.
Maxis010 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Ensure the sorting machine is not jammed, is the right way round, can match the items being sent to it, has power (feed blulectricity and watch GUI for power consumption (the 2 bars)) and get back to us
BigG1 Posted January 31, 2013 Author Posted January 31, 2013 Is there a way of unjamming the sorting machine, or do i have to remove it and replace it? They are the right way round, as it was working previously and haven't moved them around. It has plenty of power, i have 2 batboxes in tandem, fully stored with energy. I was trying this during the day time normally as i knew there would be more power coming from the solar panels to keep the bat boxes topped up. The items which are trying to be sorted, are going to the none coloured pipe, as the initial sorter seperates the ores which needs to be macerated and fed into their own individual macerators. Everything else should was going pass these and into the next sorter, which then starts to seperate them into their storage chests.

You can try setting a default color with a matching pipe to feed to a chest, if this works keep it to prevent further jams If that doesn't work you will have to break it to free the item, note down and remove your sorting items, then the only item you get will be the jammed item
BigG1 Posted February 6, 2013 Author Posted February 6, 2013 After ripping the whole system out, i have just put buffers in before each sorter, kept the default colour the same for all items not to be sorted on each sorter, and that has seemed to fix it, but now i have another problem, i will not go into it yet, as i am not entirely sure what the actual problem is, i have submitted a bug report and will update soon, whenever i get an answer! Otherwise it runs sweet as.
