tekkit lite - banning items

Hi,

I am just about to open up a new tekkit lite server and i need to know a plugin that will support banning items for tekkit lite and preferably a list of item/item id's that i could use including things like nukes

Banning the crafting (on anything not just certain mods) I haven't seen; banning the use/placement, however, I have. It will probably be harder than classic to find these plugins just fyi.

All i need to do is stop players from using certain items. Im not botherd which method is used although i need a plugin as my server will be up in a few hours

So far, I have tried a couple, my next shot is to try Essentials Anti-Build. From what I have read, and what I've managed with the Essentials system in general on my server, this should work out ok. I would say test it out and see what results you get.

I am not quite sure where to get essentails Anti-Build from. Is it included in the essentails pack that most servers have?

It is a part of the initial Essentials bundle.

@marble - With PEX and ModifyWorld you can ban the crafting of items, you just change the permission to: - -modifyworld.item.craft.(ID/Name)

I have group manager would the permission node work with it.

You could use worldguard with bukkitforge its blacklisting feature work if you dont put in any custom permissions in it.

Work with place,remove,use,pickup,interacts so as long as you dont put in any custom permissions it will work good enought to prevent any use. work on mining lasers but not on subblocks.

@shenstone - I'm using Group Manager as well, but I don't think the nodes are designed the same as PEX. Though, you could use a permissions converter to convert it to Group Manager... I know one exists, I just don't have the link at this time.
