vic485 Posted March 30, 2013 Share Posted March 30, 2013 How do I make it so that the platform installs 1.4.7 with forge instead of the vanilla 1.4.7 since distributing the jar in the zip file is not allowed by mojang. I think that there is a way since tekkit and technic have forge installed when you launch them. I want to know this so that my modpack is not "illegal" according to mojang. vic485 Posted March 30, 2013 Author Share Posted March 30, 2013 Ok, so I assume what you are saying is, I extract forge into a file called modpack.jar and this will install into the minecraft.jar downloaded.
