Nether Ores do not spawn

Description of Problem:

Upon entering the Nether for the first time in a world, I have found that Nether ores are nowhere to be found. None of them spawn at all.

I have tried in 3 different worlds.

Check the nether ores config, the Min and Max Y values get set to 128

After doing so, I would assume that the Nether data needs to be deleted so that a new one is generated?

Indeed, otherwise all of your existing nether will have ores at 128 and only new nether areas will use the new values

Okay, one thing that should be noted:

You will need to set the generation values to something below Y=127, maximum that will result in normal generation is 126. Setting to 127 gives you the same results as setting it to 128: Nothing spawns except vanilla items.
