huh? You mean by manually changing it on your end?

no, now when you want to add modpacks to your technic launcher you need to upload them. how can you make that you can add one in the launcher that isn't on the platform site?

you don't. Just delete all the mods in the modpack you use the lease (for me this would be tekkit lite,) and build a modpack off of that, and ignore it when it asks you to update.

Or use MultiMC, it would work better for what you want to do.
