Ok, my issue is obviously lagging with my Voltz Server. My server runs fine until I reach around 20 players online. We then experience people disconnecting and having to reconnect.

The message in console is the "end of stream" for the disconnected player.

Here's information pertaining to my server:

Intel Xeon Quad Core 4x 3.2GHz

8GB DDR3 RAM

120GB Samsung 830 Series SSD

100Mbs Uplink

Dedicated server running Windows Web Server 2008 R2 64bit

All 8GB RAM is allocated to the server.

Running with Java 7

The /memory command shows usually around 5.7GB free.

TPS usually always stay at 20.

I'm running 20 plugins and receive no errors in the console from them.

Plugin List:

  1. BetterTP
  2. bPermissions
  3. Buycraft
  4. ChatTweaks
  5. Towny
  6. Questioner
  7. Register
  8. Towny Chat
  9. Commands
  10. CommandScheduler
  11. Easy Restarts
  12. Firt Join Plus
  13. MSCAuto Messanger
  14. NoItem
  15. PvPTag
  16. RightOnSpawn
  17. Simple Moderator
  18. VoteSiteManager
  19. Votifier
  20. World Edit
  21. World Guard

Try upgrading to a better hoster. That should do the trick, the lower, cheaper hosting companies dont do to well when it comes to high amounts of people.

Kinda bumping here..

My CPU usage stays at about 4%, Free ram stays around 4-5GB, and no lag occurs until more and more people join usually around 18 people+. I've been searching for a solution seems like forever, but I'm kinda at a dead end.

is your cpu usage read out for total usage across all cores or are you looking at per core? the main server task will use only one core to run and tends to contain most of the mods that are running, and all the connections for the players, that is why a high speed cpu is better than a lower speed with lots of cores for server hosing.

if you feel it is network lag then see if you can use the netstat command to look at the connects and if any are backing up
