Forge wont startup when I load my modpack. The modpack loads just fine, I can verify it in the .technic folder...

It simply fails to load... Here is the link to the dropbox file;

And here is the pack link;

I would appreciate any kind of help. I've looked at more than 10 posts about the problem but non of them fix my problem...

Edit:

I tried using both the latest version and the recommended version of forge by the way

I am also using minecraft 1.5.1

Edit 2: Nevermind, renaming the forge jar modpack.jar magically solved the problem... Either that or I don't know what the hell is going on

Yeah, I have installed the launcher now 4 times. I have tried multiple times to download mod packs, and I still have none of them to play. Not even the ones that normally come with the down loader. No Tekkit, no volts, no hack slash mine, nothing. I put in the link for mod packs as I have seen instructed to no avail, even with multiple suggestions from the forums, like with parsing and what to do, that doesn't even work. I cant even get a moderator that I started a private conversation with to help, kinda discouraging. I have no idea what to do from here. Let alone know why the program is even doing this.

Edit: Here is what it says when I try to put in Big Dig. Error Parsing Platform Response.

All the checks that I have done suggests that I put www in the front of the path to get the mod pack. That has already been done from the web site to my clipboard to the launcher.

If you guys are using dropbox, you might want to try omploader instead. I had the same problem, but when I switch to omploader, the direct link I was given worked perfectly!

Make sure you create a modpack.jar in the /bin folder. In WinRar switch the Format to ZIP and change the name to modpack.jar

Please could you help me, I've followed all the guides and I don't know what's wrong, it just doesn't load Forge. Download link here. Also this is my Technic Platform Link: http://www.technicpack.net/api/modpack/shazpack. Also, I know there are no mods in the mods folder, I'm just trying to get the Forge working first.

Your modpack.jar and my Forge file were different in size, try redownloading Forge for the modpack. Maybe the latest 1.5.2 build: 7.8.1.738.
