Luke TB Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 Hey I'm having trouble understanding the oil refining process on my server. When I pump oil out of an area, will water come out too? In which case I can easily set up two different tanks but how would I get the oil to go to one and the water the other? Also, after I pump the oil into a refinery do I need to power the refinery to refine the oil? Once its refined I have to move it over to other tanks, correct? Lastly, I will have to bucket the fuel out of the tanks, right, since if I destroy the tanks with the fuel in them the fuel will just disappear (right?) Thanks for any guidance and help! Richs_Yard Posted April 21, 2013 Share Posted April 21, 2013 1)It will only suck up water when the oil runs out. 2) I believe it needs power 3) You do need to pump it out, which you should be able to use waterproof pipes and a redstone engine to do.
