Redstone Engines and Redstone Energy Conduits

I can't seem to get them to start when connected, I've set the in/out thing and nothing. Stirling and combustion work fine but not the redstone. Anyone else notice this? or am I missing something?

Completely intentional. Redstone Engines don't work on any TE stuff.

redstone engines are now just to drive very low energy devices like wooden pipes

Thermal Expansion adds a few nice engines that produce MJ's - check out steam and magmatic

Yeah, Redstone Engines are only good for BC Pumps and Wooden Pipes.
