Description of Problem:

I downloaded the spax bd texture pack and now whenever I launch tekkit it will not load past the Mojang logo. Once the logo goes away the screen turns white and ill not change. Minecraft still responds if you exit out.

Sounds like you have an outdated texture pack. Not sure. 1.5 changed how Texture Packs work.

This may also be a memory shortage, since larger texture packs take up more memory. Increase your memory from the cogwheel int he upper right hand corner of the launcher.
