[Help/Possible bug?] Train Dispensers and IC Pipes

I am having a problem with BC Pipes and train dispensers, on the wiki it says that the Train Dispenser is compatible with item loaders and BC Pipes.

However when I try both, the loader simply doesn't load the item, and the pipes, the item (Minecart) just disappears in the pipe, literally gone.

So is this a bug or am I just being silly?

As you can see here, I have a real simple system, just pipes carts from the chest to the dispenser.

Dont you need to power wooden pipes with engines? Because I dont see any

And as far as I know, IC doesn't have pipes, BC does.

Redstone engines and the such...

I removed it because it didn't work, but the engine is in-between the redstone torch and the wooden pipe
