Item/Power Teleport pipes work between different worlds?

Hey,

I was wondering if the Additional Buildcraft teleport pipes could work between different worlds or between the Nether and the normal world?

If this isn't available, is there a setting you can change that allows you to do this?

No. Item teleport pipes, however, can be replaced by ender chests.

Ah, okay, thanks for your reply.

We'll probably just invest in some ender chests then.

EDIT: Is this because the world gets unloaded when in the Nether and if so, would a chunk loader block fix this?

It doesn't look like it. Someone was asking regarding quarries in the nether (for SSP Technic) and because the world get's unloaded on transition then chunkloaders don't work.

If it's a server though, what if someone were in the Nether and someone stayed Overworld? Might it work then?
