Launcher Version: Latest

Operating System: Dell PC with Windows 7

Java Version: 1.7

Antivirus Program: K9 Protection (can't turn off because Dad runs it), Norton Security

Description of Problem:

On every modpack I try to download, at some point in the dowloading process of one of the contents of the pack it will freeze at like 1-4%.No matter what modpack I try to download this happens.I already tired deleting and re-installing, it doesn't help at all.It is getting really annoying, so please help me!

Try disabling your firewalls and antivirus, see if that helps.

Either that, or open cmd and type "tracert technicpack.net", see where the connection gets blocked.

Firstly, avoid double posting. Secondly, if you have re-installed the launcher, and no-one else gets this error, what does that tell you? What this means is the Launcher cannot properly connect to the server to download the packs. Make sure all versions of Java are added as exceptions into your firewall, and also double check your internet connection.

His problem is probably the internet security package his dad set in place, since it keeps complaining about not being able to connect to technicpack.net.

Considering I've had Technic and K9 for a very long time now and it's just starting to do this, I highly doubt that is the case.When I downloaded it Norton said that it is safe and reliable and that it will be allowed.All Java versions are allowed as well.
