Bullet_Striker Posted May 27, 2013 Posted May 27, 2013 Hey my bigdig says FML Could not set up your world for some reason I tried to reset and even update the pack only the really old versions work but I cant go on servers cause dosnt have right mods please help
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Make it crash again, and then afterwards, open the file /.technic/bigdig/ForgeModLoader-Client-0 and copy its contents. Go to pastebin.com and paste them into the box and hit submit. Then link me to the page it sends you to.
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 It says: There was a fatal error starting up minecraft and FML minecraft cannot launch in it current configuration please consult the file some weird shit for further information
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Your .technic folder will be in a different place depending on your operating system, but it tends to be inside your user files. On windows, it's C:\users\<your user>\appdata\roaming\.technic
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 I know how to get to .technic bu what after that
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 open the file .technic/bigdig/ForgeModLoader-Client-0 and copy its contents. Go to pastebin.com and paste them into the box and hit submit. Then link me to the page it sends you to.
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 That is not the file I told you to get. You may have been clued into that fact by the fact that it was in an entirely separate folder. This file was from the .technic/logs folder. I told you to get a file from the .technic/bigdig folder. .technic/bigdig/ForgeModLoader-Client-0 to be precise.
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 http://pastebin.com/cNADFAcu Is this it
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Yes, that is it. Okay, two things: 1. Your game is failing to start up because Forge can't download its support libraries properly. I'd delete the .technic/bigdig folder and try again. If it still doesn't work, then it could be your anti-virus, or your firewall. And if it's not those, the download site might be having problems. These files getting downloaded correctly are on the Forge side, and out of our control. 2. Your java version is really old! Like, gaping security holes, dangerous to run old. You should update your java to 1.7_21.
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 Okay I cant do shit like update and its not my firewall or anit-virus so basically deleting the bigdig folder will help?
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 its not my firewall or anit-virus You seem like a real tech wizard, so I have no trouble trusting you when you say this.
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 Stll same shit so should I go update something or sumthin?
CanVox Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I'd really look into anti-virus or firewall preventing the download, but you might just have to wait a couple hours for their site to come back up.
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 I didn't chage the setting on it or anything and it ran perfectly fine before and I also deleted Bigdig folder the only versions I can load are the older ones that are missing mods
Bullet_Striker Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 I asked my dad to check and its not that
