Frequent Crashes with 1.3.9

I'll be able to play for a random amount of time (sometimes it crashes immediately and I'll fall through the world, sometimes I can play for hours before BigDig decides to just shut down and freeze). Sometimes there's a white screen, sometimes there isn't.

You're running out of permgen space, as the error message says. Click the cogwheel in the upper right hand corner of the launcher and check the box for "increased permgen space" or whatever. While you're there, make sure you've got at least 2Gb to work with too, because that can be good.

Ok. I've got 8GB to work with. Used to be if I tried to raise it past 1GB, it would crash. Hope that's fixed. XP

Oh, god, don't increase it up to 8Gb. :-P 4Gb AT THE MOST. 2 is sufficient for most users, and the important thing is that checkbox.
