Launching Tekkit for the first time, HELP?

Alright, so I'm going to be playing Minecraft later today with a friend on my windows 8 laptop. He told me to download the technic launcher, so I did. I signed in with my minecraft login and it started all the configuring and then it went to another window that said FML is setting up your minecraft environment. That never finished though, it's now saying "there was a fatal error starting up minecraft and FML. Minecraft cannot launch in it's current configuration. Please consult the file C:\users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\tekkitmain\ForgeModLoader-client-0.log." What do I do? D:

Can you upload the contents of the file C:\users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\tekkitmain\ForgeModLoader-client-0.log to somewhere like pastebin

We would need that to be able to help effectively.

How would I do that, I'm not all that tech savvy?

Navigate to the folder it has told you the log is located.

Try disabling your antivirus program temporarily while downloading - it can sometimes block downloads.

Make sure to turn it back on afterwards - you can get some nasty surprises if you forget to.
