Theo_McDwiggy Posted June 4, 2013 Share Posted June 4, 2013 Alright, so I'm going to be playing Minecraft later today with a friend on my windows 8 laptop. He told me to download the technic launcher, so I did. I signed in with my minecraft login and it started all the configuring and then it went to another window that said FML is setting up your minecraft environment. That never finished though, it's now saying "there was a fatal error starting up minecraft and FML. Minecraft cannot launch in it's current configuration. Please consult the file C:\users\user\AppData\Roaming\.technic\tekkitmain\ForgeModLoader-client-0.log." What do I do? D: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

theprolo Posted June 6, 2013 Share Posted June 6, 2013 Try disabling your antivirus program temporarily while downloading - it can sometimes block downloads.
