cheiron92 Posted June 9, 2013 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I have a VPS with two cores of a Intel Xeon and 4 GB RAM. The Tekkit classic version runs very good on this, but I cant get the current server to work properly. I have debian 7 with Oracle Java 7 installed and run the server that I found on the Tekkit website main page. I started the server by the following command: java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC \ -XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing -XX:ParallelGCThreads=2 -XX:+AggressiveOpts \ -jar Tekkit.jar nogui Just walking around on the server is no problem, but the animals just stand still and if you hack a block you have to wait around ten seconds before the block actually disapears and drops. Placing blocks goes without a problem. The server also does not feel laggy, you can run around without a problem. Has anyone a clue why Tekkit does not run properly on my server?
