You can also downgrade java to 1.6.0_45 and keep the old lwjgl, but that might be more frustrating. As a general rule, we stopped carrying the newer LWJGL version for now because of the upside-down issue, so you might have to manually upgrade your packs' LWJGL on the regular if you want to hold onto java 1.7.

I don't anything about it. The LWJGL download zip contains a lot of files, but only two you care about: lwjgl.jar and lwjgl_util.jar. Drop these two files in .technic\hexxit\bin and replace the ones that are already there.

Can't the launcher maintainers add an option to update LWGL, btw? That'd be win-win for both the guys with Java 1.6 and 1.7. Maybe even offer user to enable this option if the launcher detects Java 1.7. Originally, Olloth set up the launcher to force-update everyone to 2.9. Once the upside-down issue was discovered, he backed off of that. He COULD make the LWJGL version configurable, but in a few weeks 1.6 will come out and everyone will be forced onto LWJGL 2.9 regardless. We're not sure what Mojang is planning to do about the upside-down thing, but it'll be their problem at that point. It's not work creating an LWJGL version option that will only exist for a couple weeks, though.

CanVox Posted June 25, 2013 Posted June 25, 2013 Hello, you're on a mac with java 1.7.0_25. 1.7.0_25 doesn't work with LWJGL 2.4.2, the version that ships with minecraft by default. You have the option of upgrading LWJGL to 2.9, or downgrading java to 1.6.0_45.
