forestry mod multi block farms

I have made the farm correctly and it has water, power, humus, saplings, and fertilizer but it doesn't lay down the humus and plant the trees but just consumes the fertilizer. please help?

it says i need more fertilizer when i have it in there...

You put the fertilizer in the chipset slot, I see. That'll gunk up the system bad.

I would put it over in the much larger empty region to the lower right, that will get it going.

no the fertilizer is in the right spot it worked in all the tutorials i watched i have no clue why its being like this

What version are you using of Big Dig? In 1.3.9 there seems to be an issue with it however I fixed this by changing my mod version to the latest one.

1.3.9 shipped with a wonky cfg. After opening the modpack folder go to config/forestry/gamemodes and open the OP.conf file, there's a line in there that says "farms.fertilizer.value=-1" (minus the quotes) change that to "farms.fertilizer.value=2000" (again minus the quotes) and that should fix it.. If you're playing on a server the server owner needs to change the same file the same way on the server for it to work.

Or just update to 1.3.13.
