To confirm this is only to let people play one of the old technic packs called Technic which was a non multiplayer version of Tekkit(or now known as Tekkit Classic) but because of how buggy it was it was never added to the new technic launcher.

BTW the reason it was not multiplayer is because there were mods in it that were not multiplayer compatible
