Command block not working

Hello,

The command blocks are not working on my Tekkit Lite server.

I have enabled them in server.properties, I am Opped and in creative mode; I can place the blocks and enter a command, but when I add a button to the block and press it, nothing happens.

I have tested this in vanilla minecraft with the identical command and same setup, and there it Does work.

Any ideas?
