How to get tekkit 2.1.1

I can't get tekkit 2.1.1 it not on the launcher is this a bug, has it been removed or is there a way to get it

take a look at the options part after choosing tekkit but before signing in, there should be a "manually choose" option. Do that and then you should be able to find it in the drop down menu.

2.1.1 is the current recommended build as well as the most recent. if you're selecting tekkit, you're getting 2.1.1

whoops, you're right, the latest is 2.1.0. my bad

there is no 2.1.1 tekkit version.

edit again: 2.1.1 IS the verion you get, it's mislabeled in the launcher. knew I thought that for a reason.

But on the main site it says tekkit 2.1.1 and there are servers for it as well???

yeah the launcher is just confused. it is getting you 2.1.1, even if it doesn't say that it is. sorry for the confusion there.
