kawaiiwolf Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Between updates, it'd be nice to know which mods got updated to which versions (as well as which mods were added/removed), and which block ids got updated/taken away/added. Not looking for something terribly complicated, just what has changed between the current version and the previous version >.> I hope that this can become a sort of regular thing. Quote
marine436 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 id also like this if possible, addationally, if any custom inter-activity between the mods was added Quote
NoMercyXD Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 I'd put my vote for this too, not knowing the exact version can make it hard interacting with other forums/guides/wikis which relate to the individual parts of Tekkit. Quote
Nolzi Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The only thing you can do is compare the content of the mods folder, because Technic is not documented at all. :) Quote

Forum Administrators KakerMix Posted February 12, 2012 Forum Administrators Posted February 12, 2012 WOAH I AM MAD. MAD ABOUT CHANGE LOGS. No really, we'll try to get change logs going here in the future, as it is really handy. We also hate it when people don't bother with them and we should at least practice improving ourselves that much. No promises, but once we get settled with the chaos of the launcher we'll try our best to get a change log going. Quote
marine436 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 sweet, thanks! keep up the good work! Quote

No promises, but once we get settled with the chaos of the launcher we'll try our best to get a change log going. Thank you very much! If there's something that we as a community can do to help, I'm sure there are more than enough people here willing to support! But an official changelog makes server administration much easier, especially for those of us who check every day (in dismay of late due to lack of updates) the other developer's blogs. Quote
kawaiiwolf Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 Bumping, for obvious reasons. Quote
agelian Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Please dont bump we will let you know when an official changelog is out and bumping definitely wont help that process A temporary fix is to use the github history for the tekkit config file (its not complete as it will miss the commits for the mods themselves but its a start: https://github.com/TechnicPack/Technic/commits/master/tekkit/modpack.yml Quote
