If you connect it to a Redstone Energy Cell, it will short the cell out and drain all its power in seconds. Second is large amounts of the cable will severely drag your pc down. Its dynamically textured based on how much energy flows through it like a liquid pipe. It can connect to buildcraft pipes. I dont really call this a negative, or a positive bit it depends on how you look at it. Connecting it to a wooden pipe will allow it to draw items out of containers.
