Mystcraft Linkbooks

It seems that mystcraft has herp-derped and changed their books. I understand one of the reasons why mystcraft was changed, but the rest of it remains a full mystery.

The link books you made in your own inventory were changed to stop bypassing of anti-grief checks on other mods and bypassing of forcefields.

At least having some way for these books to function as a fast travel system is now either broken or non-existent as we cannot even seem to generate a world with the crystals in it. Even with the books.

Is there any way to get these working again so I can hand out a fast travel book to spawn without really having to rely on a /home or /spawn plugin?

you have to use the new ink well to make link pages now then you put it into a craft with a piece of leather and you get unbound link books

Use gold dust(or pulverized dust) in the ink mixer along with the ink. the more gold dust you add to the ink, the better the chance of getting an intra-linking panel. 6 gives you a pretty good chance of getting one. other then that, ender pearls have a chance and a few other items do as well. But gold dust has the highest chance.

Well, with bigdig, gold is not an issue.
