help adding mods in MAC

Hi, I have no knowledge with mods and I need help from you guys.

I want to add some extra mods to hexxit but I have no idea how to do it. Is there any tutorial on how to do it in MAC?

There isn't any significant differences between windows and OSX. Just download the mods and stick them in the mods folder.

I can't find a folder called MODS in the technic/hexxit folder, only COREMODS.

Do I create a MODS folder and place them inside or maybe use the COREMODS folder?

If you don't have a mods folder, sounds like Hexxit hasn't yet launched fully. All of the mods are updated/installed when Hexxit is launched.
