AZ1JoeT Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 How do you move an engine once it has been placed and operating? I powered a quarry with four stirling engines. Now that it has mined down to the bedrock I would like to re-position the quarry and engines. How do I move the different pieces without breaking them? Quote
Catts Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 You gotta break em... other than an elaborate system of pistons... and thats unwanted. However, as you get further and further in... you'll be able to get tesseracts. Tesseracts will teleport energy, items or liquid depending on how you set it. So an elaborate system of energy product as base can be transferred on locale with a few pushes of a button and shift clicking of a wrench. Quote
CharlieChop Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 use a pickaxe, dont worry about the contents, nothing happens. unless its liquid fuel or biofuel, liquids do get destroyed Quote
Digdug83 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 About the only good that came from IC2 disappearing was now I don't have to worry about breaking expensive machines instead of wrenching them. Edit: Holy crap on a cracker, the warhammer is awesome for breaking some stuff. Thanks Charlie. Quote
AZ1JoeT Posted September 21, 2013 Author Posted September 21, 2013 When I break the stirling engines they just disappear. I tried once with a wrench, once with a pick, and once with fist. All broke... and gone. Is this abnormal? Quote

Digdug83 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 That sounds like a lag issue. Sometimes a block I break will just vanish and reappear in my inventory a minute or two later, which is frustrating if I happen to need it at the time heh. Quote
