Any way to disable the too many items mod?

Seems kind of odd that when playing Survival you have access to all the stuff like you do in creative.

I dont want access to it.

You can completely turn it off by pressing "O", but instead I would recommend going into the options (found at the bottom left of when your inventory is open) and changing it from cheat mode to recipe mode. What this will do is set it so that left clicking on an item will show any recipes used to make it, and right clicking on an item will show any recipes it is used in.
