Launcher Fails to Start

Launcher Version: 253 (Beta Builds)

Operating System: Window 7 Professional x64 SP1

Java Version: 1.7.0_02-b13

Antivirus Program: Microsoft Security Essentials

Description of Problem:

After switching the launcher to use beta builds and closing it as requested, when I start the launcher (either through a shortcut or by directly executing the file) the Technic Launcher splash appears, followed by a loading bar. Once the bar fills, the splash disappears and nothing else happens.

i am having the exact same problem, i have looked on about 12 different forums and FAQs and i cannot find anything, but this is such a big problem 'cos i have tried everything, re-downloading re-starting laptop even restoring to a date in which it worked but nothing changed! its stupid how complicated just running a game can be. frustrating, all i want to do is record a little bit of HEXXIT gameplay but there it literally nothing i can do.

sorry about the rant but i have a feeling we share the same anger.

if you find anything, let me know PLEASE!

If you have read 12 different forums you should have already found out that you can't play beta. As long as your launcher is on beta it won't start. Look around other topics for common solutions to put it back in stable.
