A Rant, by Me.

So, I started a rant. Not a normal rant, though. It's a long one, so be sure to get a cup of coffee. (Actually, never mind, you might laugh so hard you might spill your coffee.)

This rant is about the technic pack, (you don't say?)

I have a few points I would like to talk about:

1) Price.

Price? What price? The price KakerMix and Co have to pay, of course! Not only that they do this for us FOR FREE, but people are so retarded they actually hate the technic pack, and post shit like THIS http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,6785.msg42551.html#msg42551 and that just makes me facepalm.

2) Piracy.

What Kakermix & Co. do is not only because of piracy, but also because it's much simpler. I think anyone that uses the technic launcher would agree that it's a great thing to have, since now it's just inputting a bit of text and you got Technic!

3) Epicness

The Technic Pack is EPIC! I tried installing a few mods on my own, and MC just died (lol). All that work made into fitting all the IDs together to make a great industrial adventure is epic, and I will forever bow down to KakerMix and kiss his feet.

4) SMP

Not every modpack has SMP support! (In fact, I think that TP is the only one with SMP support) That is epic! Now I can play Tekkit with my friends

5) People.

I hate people. They suck. Sometimes I wonder why people even bother registering to post shit like this: http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,3708.0.html

"They are worse than Hitler and Stalin together"? Dafuq? I think I prefer this over the fucking holocaust and eternal poverty.. If you hate the technic pack so much, go ahead and go back in time to 1940..

6) Forestry.

Yes, I know Forestry is no longer part of the technic pack. (I took care of that by burning all my apatite :>). May I just say that SirSengir is one complete fucktard for actually coding some gizmos in .class form to actually remove beekeeping from the Technic Pack! (...) Way to go, jakj, for actually uprising against that fag*. This shit wouldn't have even happened if the fucking minecraft forums (which claim to be the best) wouldn't force modders to make copyrights over their "mods" (which are just lines of code and 16x16 pixel pictures).

Being angry and upset is OK, letting us know is ok, but calling people names is stooping down to levels I know we're above.
