Crashed and Won't close no matter what!

I was playing Hexxit then I went in my house and into my chest then everything froze and now its stuck on my desktop and I can't close it.

Just incase I have a Windows 7 computer.

PLEASE HELP!

I can't reopen it because its supposed to close any open minecrafts but IT CANT!

Just do a turtorial or tell me how to get it closed

CTRL + ALT + DEL brings up the activity handler. Shut minecraft off through it.

Or you can just cut the power from your pc and restart

I read that as "Cut the power cord off your pc" And I was happy for a minute.

Just in case Munaus wasn't completely clear:

1) Push Ctrl-Alt-Del.

2) Select "Start Task Manager"

3) Under "Processes" find java.exe or javaw.exe

4) Right-click on that and click "End Process" then "Yes"

5) If there are multiple copies of Java running, either kill them all or figure out what else you might be running that uses Java.
