[Solution] Big Dig Server Failures!

Hello, on this forum post I will list several ways you can fix your Big Dig server to get it to a working state!

Issue 1)

Error occurred during initialization of VM

Could not reserve enough space for object heap

Error: Could not create the Java Virtual Machine.

Error: A fatal exception has occurred. Program will exit.

Solution)

Go to

http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Download the correct version of java! This means that if you have 64 bit GET 64 BIT, or else it will cause this issue.

Issue 2)

[WARNING] ****FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!

[WARNING] The exception was : java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: JUM_Bind

[WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

Solution)

Open up Control Panel and scroll down till you see Java or Craftbukkit and CLOSE it.

Remember to always end the console with 'stop' to avoid this issue further.

Solution 2)

You set 'server-ip' to have an IP, go ahead and delete that.

Solution 3)

Your firewall is blocking the access, try turning off your firewall.

Chances are Forge simply is being stupid with its download links...

Make sure you re download those files in the post above, go to lib delete the ones that you re downloaded and put the new ones in, btw I was going around helping people by showing them how to fix the problem did you happen to find out the problem in this post Just follow the steps here http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/server-bug-wont-download-files.53262/ at the bottom is the files you need to download and the server should work fine with 2 simple steps :D
