skazzi Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Hi fellow minecrafters have played minecraft with this launcher now for a while and it has been a bless exept for the fact that the launcher launch minecraft 1.5.2. I have uppdatet my vanilla to the newest but how do i get the tekkit launcher to understand that its with that version i would like to play with ?
weirleader Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 When you scroll to vanilla Minecraft on the left, there is a little gear beneath the icon. Clicking it should give you a menu where you can select which MC version you want to run; by default, it *should* be 1.7.2 - latest, but you possibly manually set it at some point and need to readjust it.

Mods depend on the Minecraft version, so when all the mods are compatible with the next version of Minecraft the modpack will update.
weirleader Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 that's how I read his post at first, but then I thought perhaps he just means the 'vanilla' component of the launcher; not sure at this point which he means.
dwwojcik Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I don't know, but either way he has his answer.
TonyVS Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 tekkit and vanilla mincreaft have their own launchers, tekkit will not function at 1.72 currently. Tekkit will stay at 1.52 untill such time as they have an updated mods for the tekkit pack. AT that time your tekkit launcher willgive you the option to download when it is avaliable
