thechunkyllama Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I can walk around, look at inventory, and see the hud but no textures are loading. All i see is black outlines where the blocks are, the world is completely invisible. Help?
Jaxon.Wyatt Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I would suggest entering .technic in %appdata% and deleting Attack-Of-B-Team and reinstalling it. there it could reinstall all the right textures. Aldo, if you're using a texturepack i'd take it off and see what happens
thechunkyllama Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 ive done both and even tried launching in 1.0.1 and 0.2. Alas neither of those worked, still have the same problem, invisible world
Jaxon.Wyatt Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 well than theres 1 thing only... Javascript
Kr0nZ Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 well than theres 1 thing only... Javascript Javascript is not the same as Java. ive done both and even tried launching in 1.0.1 and 0.2. Alas neither of those worked, still have the same problem, invisible world Try giving more Ram to minecraft, if that fails try increasing the permgen memory (i was having problems running the pack until I increased the permgen to 256mb, but I use multimc, so increasing the permgen is easy, not sure how to do it with the technic launcher). If none of that work try updating Java, 64 bit if possible
Banhat Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I'm having a similar problem where blocks and mobs (including the player) won't render, but various entities like dropped blocks, items held in your hand/bows held by skeletons will render just fine. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about: Hmmm, seems like it's an issue with the latest ATI beta drivers, at least in my case.
Unclesam1313 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 It is the AMD Catalyst 14.1 beta drivers. This fixed it for me. http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=386289
