Triple_T Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Hey everyone, I know this is probably a very simple fix but alas i'm fairly new with industrialcraft and I can't seem to figure out why my machines keep getting destroyed because of my MSE storage. I'm trying to have it so that it can both store power thats gathered and power machines when it's available. I'm using glass fiber cable and and whenever it's hooked up to my macerator or extractor it blows them up. Help please, again sorry if it's a stupid question. Quote
Yuriy Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=LV_Transformer or http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Transformer_upgrade (before connecting the machine) MFE outputs 128, machines take 32 max without exploding. Read through the wiki to know what machines accept what kind of power and don't connect HV power to LV machines. Quote
Triple_T Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 Ah key point right there, i figured there was a limit for the machines but i couldn't find it anywhere, Thank you! Quote
xardas Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 You can also craft transformer upgrades, so that the machines can accept a higher voltage. I normally just put 3 in and then straight glass cable from the Reactor... Quote
Triple_T Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 Yeah, i'm actually surprised I missed such a key detail as the machines input cap, but it makes a ton of sense now, thanks guys, i'll definitely get on those transformer upgrades Quote
xardas Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Although if i remember correctly, the Induction Furnace has no "additional" input slots for transformers/overclockers... so not sure what to do there, other then EU -> HV -> MV Quote
