im thinking about changing my server to a tekkit server and probably changing the server name too. i just wondered if the proper tekkit team would back me up and help publicize the server if the plans go ahead

You should check out the server post for Terra Novo. That is how a server post should look. If you aren't willing to put in the effort to make a nice server post, noone is going to want to play with you. (noone worth playing with anyways)
