Jhewett95 Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 (edited) So, I allocated 3gb of RAM as instructed for a heavily modded minecraft client, however every time I try and load up minecraft I get stuck at "Loading world Building terrain" My PC specs should be more than enough to handle heavily modded minecraft, i7 4770k@ 3.5Ghz, 8gb 1866mhz RAM and a 780ti GPU. Every time it freezes I have to restart my computer as well because forcing it to end the task doesn't work, it just gets more glitchy and freezes into windowed mode with a full sized screen. In addition in my windows event viewer I have, and this is no exageration around 300 nvidia openGL driver out of memory errors. Edited February 23, 2014 by Jhewett95
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted February 23, 2014 Discord Moderator Posted February 23, 2014 Assign less memory in the launcher. Even with 135+ mods you can play fine with 1.5G set in the launcher settings. Over 2G is probably never needed.
